Every brand starts somewhere — for Coco Bless Patisserie, it began in 2020 as a small home-based bakery in Singapore during pandemic. It wasn’t a perfect setup—baking from home meant limited space and restricted equipment. Yet, through careful adjustment and experience, he learned to work with these limitations

As more customers discovered the brand, Coco Bless began to grow through returning customers and word of mouth. Chef Yong Lu began exploring opportunities to expand, with hopes of opening a store in Singapore. Yet, reality quickly set in— High rental costs, significant upfront investment, making the leap far more challenging than expected.
Instead, it redirected the journey.
Shaped the next chapter in Johor Bahru
In 2023, Coco Bless Patisserie took an important step forward with the opening of its first physical store in Johor Bahru, offering a refined range of petite gâteaux, swiss rolls, and whole cakes — focus on blending French and Japanese baking techniques. Beyond sweet creations, Chef Yong Lu has since honed his techniques in developing new territory – Viennoiserie, from offering a wider selection of savouries.
These are all available for in-store purchases or online order and even deliveries within Johor area.
The goal is simple: to have Coco Bless Patisseries be the first brand in a customer’s mind when picturing desserts and patisseries.

Coco Bless is popping up with a second home at SKS City Mall JBCC – and this time, it’s a little more playful concept. Think grab-and-go, easy and few cozy seats if you feel like slowing down for a moment. There’ll be more pastries, more choices, and more reasons to swing by (even if it’s just for a quick treat).
It’s a whole new rhythm for us — faster, busier, and honestly, a fun challenge we’re excited to take on.
